University and Degree: Leeds, BA (International) Management
What Scheme you are on: UK (Commercial)
Why did you apply for the graduate scheme at TUI: The breadth of experience we get on the scheme really appealed to me as I didn’t want to commit to a narrow graduate programme that restricted me to a certain department. I also love travel and have a lot of experience in customer service roles so it was a good fit.
What you are doing in your current assignment: In my current assignment I am reviewing the call centres, focusing on outbound operations. This is an exciting and high profile project which involves looking at the wider pre-travel customer contact strategy, identifying potential for tactical activity and examining opportunities to make the department more sophisticated in the use of data analytics amongst other things.
Favourite thing about working at TUI: There’s a relaxed and enjoyable work environment with a lot of potential for career development. I don’t think there is a better product than holidays to work with and the travel benefits are amazing too.
What are your interests outside of work: Travel (backpacking), watching and playing Sports, Cooking,
What is your best holiday/travel experience: My year studying abroad in Australia, 12 months of living the dream!
Dream holiday destination: Heli-skiing in British Columbia
Proudest achievement: The restaurant I managed earning a five star AA rating
Most adventurous thing you’ve ever eaten: Deep fried Locust
Interesting fact about yourself: I’ve been (or been taken!) to A&E 37 times…
If you won the lottery what is the first thing you’d buy: A flight abroad to go travelling.
