University and Degree: International Business, Loughborough University

What Scheme you are on: UK&I Graduate Leadership scheme

Why did you apply for the graduate scheme at TUI: The scheme offers an unrivalled experience within a diverse FTSE100 company. I have always had an interest in both travel and business and TUI offered me scope to explore both of these interests. I was not totally sure which part of the business would suit me best but with the range of rotations here at TUI I am already finding areas that I enjoy and excel in.

What you are doing in your current assignment: My current assignment is in the Holiday Experience team. I am helping to manage a trial in Cyprus this summer which is aiming to measure initiatives that will help modernise our sales and service offering.

Favourite thing about working at TUI: The people! There is a great melting pot of people with a mixture of backgrounds and expertise that are always willing to share their experiences with you. Many have worked overseas for long periods of time and their ‘nuggets’ of knowledge are invaluable.

What are your interests outside of work: I enjoy any kind of sport, in particular football and rugby. I like to socialise with friends and enjoy giving myself a challenge. I think a triathlon is next in the list.

What is your best holiday/travel experience: I went to Thailand last summer which was incredible. Unfortunately I was only there for a month and felt that I only scratched the surface. I would love to go back and explore what the country has to offer.

Dream holiday destination: New Zealand. I have family over in NZ and I’ve always wanted to do the Kiwi Experience.

Proudest achievement: Climbing Kilimanjaro

Most adventurous thing you’ve ever eaten: My brothers cooking

Interesting fact about yourself: I’m a triplet

If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would it be and why: I would love to meet Richard Branson. After reading his autobiography I realised how innovative and inspirational the guy is. To go from running a student newspaper to the empire he has today is very impressive.
